History of Eid al-Adha in Uganda and How to Celebrate/ Observe It
Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Festival of the Sacrifice”, is one of the most important holidays in the Muslim calendar. It is celebrated annually on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijjah, and commemorates the willingness of the prophet Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God.
