International Panic Day may be something you want to learn more about, and we want to help with that.

Let's dive deeper into learning more about the history of International Panic Day and why people celebrate or observe it.

History of International Panic Day and How to Celebrate/ Observe It

International Panic Day is an annual event celebrated on the first Saturday of May. It was created in 2006 by two friends, Justin Sane and Chris Daughtry, as a day to celebrate all things weird and wonderful. The day is designed to be a fun and light-hearted way to embrace our quirks and eccentricities, and to celebrate the things that make us unique.

Each year, International Panic Day features a different theme, and participants are encouraged to dress up and take part in activities related to the theme. Previous themes have included aliens, zombies, and pirates. This year’s theme is ‘The Future’, and activities will include a time capsule competition, a fancy dress parade, and a ‘best dressed robot’ contest.

So whether you’re a self-confessed oddball or just looking for an excuse to let your hair down, get involved in International Panic Day and celebrate your inner weirdo!
