History of Kurban Bayram in Montenegro and How to Celebrate/ Observe It
Kurban Bayram, also known as Eid al-Adha, is a four-day Muslim holiday celebrated throughout Montenegro. It commemorates the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God. Muslims believe that Allah intervened and provided a lamb to sacrifice instead.
