San Prudencio is a small town located in the province of Navarre, in the north of Spain. The town is situated on a hillside overlooking the valley of the Ebro river. It is known for its annual festival which takes place on the first Sunday of May. The festival celebrates the town’s patron saint, San Prudencio, who is said to have been a 7th-century bishop. During the festival, a procession of people dressed in traditional Basque clothing walk through the streets of the town. The festival also features traditional Basque music and dancing.
