Victory Day is a national holiday in Turkey that commemorates the Turkish victory over Greece in the Battle of Dumlupınar. It is celebrated on 30 August.

The battle, which took place on 30 August 1922, was the last major battle of the Turkish War of Independence and resulted in the expulsion of Greek forces from Anatolia. The victory also paved the way for the eventual establishment of the Republic of Turkey.
