World Book Night is an annual event that takes place on April 23rd. It was created to encourage people to read more, and to celebrate the power of books. Every year, World Book Night gives away free copies of special edition books to people who don’t normally read for pleasure. The books are given away by volunteers, who hand-pick them based on the recipient’s interests. World Book Night is a wonderful way to connect with others through the love of reading.
