Hartalika Teej is a Hindu festival that is celebrated in Nepal. It is observed on the third day of the waxing moon in the month of Shravan (July/August). The festival is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and marks her union with Lord Shiva. On this day, married women fast and pray for the well-being of their husbands while unmarried women do the same for their future husbands.
