In the event of a zombie apocalypse, Z Day is the day when the government finally takes action to try and contain the outbreak. The military would be deployed to major cities to set up quarantine zones and rescue any survivors. They would also be responsible for destroying any zombies they come across. This would be a last ditch effort to save humanity from extinction.
