The Croatian Parliament is the unicameral legislative body of the Republic of Croatia. In addition to passing laws, the Parliament elects the Prime Minister of Croatia and approves the composition of the Cabinet. The Parliament also has the power to pass constitutional amendments and to call for referendums.

The Parliament is composed of 151 members elected for a four-year term. Members are elected in single-member districts using the D’Hondt method. The most recent parliamentary election was held on November 8, 2016.

The Croatian Parliament is headquartered in the capital city of Zagreb. The Parliament building is located on St. Mark’s Square, in the city’s Lower Town district. The Parliament building was designed by Croatian architect Vladimir Veličković and completed in 1886.
