History of Rama Navami in India and How to Celebrate/ Observe It
Rama Navami is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of the god Rama. It is typically observed on the ninth day of the Hindu lunar month of Chaitra (March–April), and sometimes coincides with Easter Sunday. The festival is a relatively minor one in the Hindu calendar, but is significant for followers of Vaishnavism, who consider Rama to be an avatar (incarnation) of Vishnu.
